recent updates. We've updated the playlist to remove Christmas tracks, and
within the next few days you'll hear a complete turnaround of songs played on

for at least 2 months. Even better, we'll have a number of brand new songs that
have *never* been on CelticChristianTunes.com Radio from the following artists:
Charitie L. Bancroft
Maire Brennan
Caim
Joanne Hogg
Graham Kendrick
Joe King
Sarah Lacy
Wendy Ritchie

MUSIC NEWS:
MOYA BRENNAN: That's right, it's "Moya". If you're one of countless non-Irish
speakers who've never seemed to get "Maire" Brennan's name right, you'll be glad
to learn she's now officially going by "Moya" (which by the way is the way it's
always been pronounced). You can now reach Brennan's website through
http://www.mairebrennan.com/ OR http://www.moyabrennan.com/.
MOYA BRENNAN (again): Let no one say that Moya's name change is a sign that
she's abandoned her life-long championing of the Irish language. Moya has
recently begun adding Irish content to http://www.moyabrennan.com/. Just click
on the "gaeilge" link.
MOYA BRENNAN (yet again): Be looking for a new album soon, "Two Horizons". It
includes five tracks featuring Troy Donockley.
CAIM: Caim's new CD "New Life from Ruins" is now available in the Clunie Music
online CD shop. "New Life From Ruins" was recorded in Boston with Shakuhachi
Flute player Robert Jonas. The CD fuses Celtic Christian songs with the
shakuhachi, a Japanese bamboo flute.
FATHOM: Fathom has published a recording of their epic song "The Two Towers",
based upon J.R.R. Tolkien's book of the same name. The MP3 can be downloaded for
free from http://artists.mp3s.com/artist_song/2908/2908454.html (10:25 minutes,
9.5 MB).
NICK & ANITA HAIGH: The Haighs have released a new album entitled "Homecoming".
ISLE OF LIGHT: Isle of Light has released their second album, entitled "Winter's
Welcome".
JOANNE HOGG: Iona lead singer Joanne Hogg and her husband Steve are expecting
their child in May. Naturally, their pregnancy will put a damper on the Iona gig
schedule for a while, but according to Iona's website, Joanne still hopes to do
some writing and recording for Iona's next album.
JEFF JOHNSON & BRIAN DUNNING: Johnson's & Dunning's song, "Vows" from the album
"Byzantium - The Book Of Kells & St. Aidan's Journey" has been included in the
soundtrack of Martin Scorsese's epic film, "Gangs Of New York." A forty second
excerpt of the song is heard at the climax of the film, which stars Daniel
Day-Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz & Liam Neeson.
PHIL KEAGGY: Phil has been in the studio working on a new CD to be released
within then next several months. As fans of Phil know, family themes are very
important to him and his songwriting, and this CD is no exception. It will be a
compilation of songs written over the years for special occasions such as
birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings. Appropriately titled "Special
Occasions", it will feature some brand new tracks, some cover tunes, and some
different versions of previously released songs.
